Other services provided by MAAFL include the following: 1) Support for the jobless, which includes resume development, computer training and ffice etiquette skills; 2) Department of Economic Security (DES) 
assistance, which include assisting individuals who have lost their jobs in applying for DES food stamps and AHCCCS Health Insurance; 3) Small Business Set-up; 4) Business Plans; 5) Grant Writing; 6) Self-Esteem Counseling; and 7) Numerous Referral Services.

Fresh Start Women's Foundations:
MAAFL has began a new project for 2015 called "2-B-1" which was kicked off on Wednesday, February 25th at Fresh Start. The workshop "Cultivating the Leader Within" will transform ordinary women and girls into leaders of their AZ communities. Workshops will be held on the third Wednesday of every month throughout 2015. Call 602-252-8494 to sign up for workshops.

Vista Colina Homeless Shelter: MAAFL provided three events at this shelter for 15 - 30 families (60 - 80 Children): Easter Event, March 27, 2016, Backpack Event, July 30, 2016 and Toy Drive, December 17, 2016.

UMOM New Day Centers: MAAFL has made a commitment to provide its Career Development Leadership to the families at UMOM for one year, starting January 2014 until January 2015.

City of Phoenix Housing Department: MAAFL has made a commitment to provide its Career Development Leadership to the teen youth program sponsored by the City of Phoenix Housing for one year, starting June 2014 until September 2015.
